| case the pump itself should not be adjusted even though it can. You should let the variable controller control the flow / pressure through the nozzle. The purpose of the upgraded pump is to provide flexibility in the location of the install ( if mounted in the rear for example there will be more line and require a stronger pump ). You got it right on the safe injection. Some guys are wiring that into their scramble boost feature of their electronic boost controller or into a relay that ties into the power of the electronic boost controller. Safe Injection activates - lower boost or base boost !
I have a WI kit on my car from a couple years ago that is pressure activated ( off/ on) and it would prefer to have the variable controller linearly increase the flow rate as boost builds. The controller has an "onset boost" and "high-boost" settings that need to be set right as well.
